What is a Nanny Monitor?
NANNY is a baby breath monitor that continually checks on the baby when parents are asleep.
NANNY continuously checks the baby´s breathing and movements to give an early warning in case of a possible danger.
NANNY triggers a loud acoustic and visual alarm if the baby's breathing and movements stop for longer than 20 seconds or if the rate of breathing is below 8 breathes per minute. Monitoring for (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome/Crib death) and other life threatening conditions (allergy, sudden illness, choking…) to be indicated in time to save the baby.
PLEASE NOTE - that NANNY can only alert you when your child is breathing irregularly or not at all. It cannot make any action itself and cannot replace a baby sitter!
How does NANNY help the parents?
NANNY' s sensor pad is positioned under the bed's mattress, detecting the gentle movements of an infant's chest. Signals from the sensor go to the control unit, which confirms regular breathing and movements by a green light. NANNY has no physical contact with the baby and it also does not generate any form of energy. Using only batteries, its passive sensing has no harmful effect whatsoever on babies.
Where is Nanny used?
You can find Nanny not only at homes of proud and caring parents, but also at hospitals (maternity wards, specialised clinics etc.). Nanny complies with the European standard s for medical devices.
Nanny - so easy to install…
The installation is very quick and easy. Place the sensor pad under the mattress. Insert batteries to the control unit and fix the control unit to the bed using the fastening belt. After connecting the sensor's cable to the unit Nanny is ready to start guarding.

After you put the baby to the bed, turn the unit on (this is confirmed by a beep and flash of all lights). The green light flashes according to the baby's breaths and movements. In case of an alarm, the siren will sound and the red light will light up. The red battery light flashes when the battery capacity is low.

In the Netherlands, a young couple still have a happy young baby alive..... thanks to NANNY the sensitive breathing monitor.
The baby suddenly stopped breathing and the Nanny alarm alerted the sleeping parents.
